Hatch Contributor Event

Thank you all so much for joining our first big walkabout! Yosemite rocked and so did all of you for coming. We'll be emailing some follow up information so you can blog about it while it's still fresh in your mind. :)

Leslie, I got home too late to call, but Glen Park sounds doable. I will call tomorrow to get your address or you can call my cell too at 415-596-5356. I am in a meeting from 12 - 1:30 and at a play in the evening, but other than that I can pick up.

Jane, I was planning on driving too, but if you would like to have company, I am only a few minutes off of 280.

A ONE-DAY TRAIN RIDE FOR FOCUS AND CREATIVITY, TAKING US FROM SAN FRANCISCO TO YOSEMITE AND BACK

Adventuresome, creative women entrepreneurs:

Join us for a special one-day FocusCatalyst FocusTour from San Francisco to Yosemite via Amtrak train.

Hatch Network Advisory Board Member, Betsy Burroughs, has been leading this special workshop to Yosemite for her clients for years. And now she has custom-designed one especially for Hatch Network members. It’s so much fun, it’s hard to call it “workshop”—it’s more like a “funshop.”

Betsy will teach us how to use a variety of her FocusCatalyst techniques. They’re easy, effortless and fun to do. You’ll come away from the day with ideas, insights and solutions to your own particular personal or professional questions and challenges.

All of Betsy’s techniques are based on the latest neuroscience research on how our brains work. A free PDF of her book, FOCUS. The Catalyst for Creativity, is available to all Hatch members with a profile on HatchNetwork.com.

WHEN: March 26, 2010, 7:15AM to 10PM
WHERE: Starting and ending at Amtrak’s Emeryville Station in the East Bay
HOW MUCH: $125. The train ticket is about $75 (Each participant purchases their train ticket directly from Amtrak.com beforehand.)

We will meet at 7:15AM at the Amtrak Emeryville Station. On the way to Yosemite we will brainstorm individual solutions with fun, easy-to-do, powerful exercises to tap into our own best creative solutions to problems that may have been vexing us for a long time.

We’ll arrive at Yosemite Lodge at 11:45AM for lunch there. Then we’ll have over 3 hours in the Valley to walk, enjoy nature and open our minds up to new solutions.

Every participant will also have one-on-one time to brainstorm with Betsy.

On the return trip we’ll relax (bring wine and cheese or buy them in the dining car), talk—or nap!

We’ll have a collective experience that will be remembered for a lifetime.

TRAIN TICKET NOT INCLUDED IN $125 PRICE. PLEASE PURCHASE YOUR TRAIN TICKET ON AMTRAK.COM BEFORE FRIDAY.
