Why I Mentor

Over the 7 years that I ran SmartsCo, a specialty publishing business, I learned so much about launching, running, and ultimately selling a small business. I was fortunate to win the $Make Mine a Million award in 2005 and was very grateful for the support group provided by the women in that organization, and I believe women’s support networks can be keys to one’s success.

I have always enjoyed sharing my skills and expertise with other women entrepreneurs, and when I learned about the great program that the Hatch Network is offering, I immediately signed up. I look forward to helping other women achieve success in launching their own businesses and help them leverage some of the great lessons I was able to tap into and avoid some of the pitfalls I experienced.
